The Enable Group, formed from an MBO in July 2020 is formed around a infrastructure construction business focussed on rail and power. The Group is growing rapidly with Turnover expected to top £50m in the current year.

We are looking for someone who is resourceful, with a resilient mindset, excellent time and work load management skills with experience as a Bid Manager in the infrastructure sectors, ideally Rail but this is not essential. This is a very fast paced environment where success is celebrated but hard is work is required to achieve this.
We are looking for a contractor to hit the ground running for a 3 - 6 month period.
The Bid Manager will support and potentially lead the bid team in preparing submissions and generate responses to questionnaires. They will liaise with various departments to ensure up to date information is utilised in the bid submissions. They will issue responds to client request and track submission. They will ensure that client relationships are developed and that all key reporting is completed on time.
To be successful in this role we require someone with experience in a similar environment, ideally with a rail contractor but other infrastructure sectors will be considered.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has the ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with all stakeholders, with a view to repeat business from our client base.
The individual will be a dedicated worker who has the ability to work independently and make important decisions when necessary.
The candidate will have excellent attention to detail and produce quality documentation that is subject to audit scrutiny.
Experience
- Must have experience of working in a work winning team in a construction environment, ideally infrastructure
- Experience of working with a CRM system
- Knowledge of preparing bids/tenders to clients Large PC Contractors.
- Have the ability to manage a high volume, quick turn around work load
- Have the ability to manage your own time as well as set deadlines for others so you can achieve yours/the clients
- Be of a resilient nature, able to take knock backs along with the successes.
Qualification
- Civil Engineering or construction related degree or HND - not essential
