The Enable Group, formed from an MBO in July 2020 is formed around a infrastructure construction business focussed on rail and power. Our main business with in the group is, Enable Infrastructure (formerly BCM Construction), we have a Hire business, Resourcing business and a Design Consultancy, where this role sits.
Enable Design (formerly known as Equate Design) are specialists in high-quality, bespoke civil and electrical engineering design. Working closely with clients across multiple sectors, we leverage our teams’ deep expertise and experience to develop innovative solutions for projects both

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Have completed a relevant Degree or Masters level qualification in Civil Engineering
- Passion to develop your civil engineering knowledge in to a design related industry
- Experience of working with design software, such AutoCAD 2D & 3D, MicroStation
- To be a flexible and innovative self-starter who brings a curious mindset to finding solutions for real-world problems
- Not essential - Experience of working in a design capacity around rail & civil engineer projects.
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure designs are produced in accordance with all relevant standards
- Ensure designs are produced with Safety during construction, operation and decommissioning/demolition in mind
- Production of 2D/3D designs and associated deliverables
- Preparing construction drawings associated with the designs
- Verify & control status of consultants and subcontractors drawings and specifications & maintain registers
- Input into production of scope and specifications of surveys required
- Assisting with undertaking surveys within own area of experience
