The group is now looking to recruit a IT helpdesk/support consultant to join the business in providing 1st line support to the Enable Group IT department, including responsibility for all IT software, hardware systems, security and customer service desk. Champion the IT processes and procedures ensuring all stakeholders are compliant with them. 

 

The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes. 

 

This will be an ongoing freelance/consultant position with a view to moving to PAYE for the right person. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Providing 1st line support and 1:1 coaching over the phone using screen-sharing and in person to remote offices and remote staff  
  • Support online systems including Office 365 and EVision.  Liaise with software supplier support desks when required. 
  • Support the setup and rollout of an electronic version of our IMS, using Nutshell on Android tablets.  
  • Manage hard/software for new starters and leavers, printer configuration and support. 
  • Ensure data and IT security is maximised to the business including all aspects to achieve cyber essentials plus. 
  • Improve and upgrade our MS sharepoint and MS teams systems to ensure that the maximum capability is being used by the businesses. 
  • Facilitate system to system integrations between different software stakeholders. 
  • Educate the business on software functionality and new features to ensure that users are aware of and utilise new features to promote day to day efficiency in line with our company values. 
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

 

Requirements

 

Essential 

Microsoft Office 365 desktop application and EVision (Dynamics NAV) support and 1:1 coaching of users, especially in Excel. 

Support of Windows 10 and Android, setup of desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. 

Administration of Office 365, in particular Exchange and SharePoint. 

Azure AD configuration. 

Windows Server administration. 

Basic wired and wireless networking & VPN setup, fault-finding. 

 

 

Desirable 

Systems Implementation and Project Management. 

Advanced SharePoint including InfoPath forms, linking to databases, reporting. 

Microsoft Azure Server and AD management. 

Microsoft Dynamics NAV management and configuration. 

Jet Report Development. 

Power BI experience. 

Mobile Device Management (InTune).
