As a Full-Stack Engineer, your role will be crucial in developing and maintaining our platform product, The Findest Universe—the digital home of R&D professionals. You'll work on back-end and data engineering tasks while also occasionally assisting with front-end development.
In your everyday role, you will:
- Design and implement new features and improvements to the platform using C#, Python, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and React.
- Work closely with the product manager to define the roadmap and priorities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and meets the needs of our users.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor and support junior developers, and ensure the development team follows best practices and coding standards.
- Deploy and maintain the platform using the latest technologies and tools.
- Manage your workflow effectively, including planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks.
- Contribute to the release process by preparing code for deployment, coordinating with team members, and ensuring smooth and timely releases.
- Assist with updating and maintaining deployment pipelines and related documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Solid experience (>7 years) in software development, with expertise in C# and Python on the backend and React on the front end.
- Experience with various databases, with strong knowledge of at least one, such as SQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis or Neo4J.
- Good understanding of queue systems like RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of principles for designing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like xUnit, Jest, or unittest.
- Familiarity with GIT and GIT workflows, with CI/CD culture and tools like GitHub Actions being a big plus.
- Excellent understanding of containerization tools such as Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience in designing and developing scalable web applications to support growth.
- Strong expertise in working in an agile development environment and applying best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
