In your everyday role, you will:
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality for web applications developed using .NET Core, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python for AI applications.
- Test AI models, AI pipelines, and large language models (LLMs) to ensure their accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Automate repetitive testing tasks using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the quality of our products.
- Set up and maintain test environments to ensure they mirror production settings.
- Deploy code to test and production environments, ensuring smooth transitions and functionality.
- Take responsibility for release management, coordinating and overseeing the deployment of new features and fixes.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of releases, providing support as needed to resolve any deployment-related issues.
Job Requirements:
- Solid experience (5+ years) in software testing, with a strong focus on web applications.
- Experience or willingness to learn in testing AI models, AI pipelines, and large language models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience in preparing a comprehensive testing strategy, including scope, responsibilities, required environments, approach, tools, schedule, reporting, and resource needs.
- Ability to create and maintain various tests, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, end-to-end, performance, and other non-functional tests, automated where possible and manual when necessary.
- Sound understanding of agile methodologies and the principles and practices of BDD, ATDD, and TDD.
- Experience using open-source test tools and automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, k6, and Postman/Newman.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery tools such as GIT, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate issues and efficiently collaborate with internal teams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
