Assistant Demo Manager Part Time - WDS Costco store Bristol at Fizz Recruitment

We’ve partnered with Costco for over 25 years, providing sampling and demo services in all UK and Iceland warehouses, trading as Warehouse Demo Services (WDS). 

We deliver over 75,000 product samplings and demos each year, so we know a thing or two about creating a buzz for brands in this unique retail environment.

We are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to help manage the demonstration program as well as our team of Brand Ambassadors. 

Working in partnership with Costco and alongside the Demo Services Manager (DSM), you will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. 

You will also be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent.

 As Deputy Manager you should also be able to act proactively to ensure a smooth team operation and effective collaboration.

Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:  Here’s a summary of what you’ll be doing.

• Support the Demo Services Manager (DSM) in ensuring the WDS operation and demonstration program meets the highest standards.
• In line with company policies/HR procedures and employment laws, help the DSM to build and develop a reliable and skilled demonstration team.
• Assist DSM in the management of costs and overheads, as well as other factors affecting the profitable performance of the warehouse demonstration activities.
• Maintain a high standard of personal performance and presentation.
• To be a role model and effective representative of WDS for our Clients and Vendors
• As deputy manager you would be responsible for running the WDS operation in the warehouse in the absence of the DSM

Job Type: Part-time Must be able to work every other weekend (Four days a week)

Salary: £17,200.00 /year
