Our Group Fitness classes include Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga sculpt, Pilates, Spin, HIIT, Bootcamp, Circuit Training, Aqua, Treadmill, and much much more!
We are seeking a skilled, engaging, and safety-conscious Self-Defense Instructor to lead sessions for our residents, employees, or clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in martial arts or personal safety training, experience teaching individuals or groups, and the ability to create an empowering, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive self-defense classes tailored to beginner and intermediate skill levels.
- Teach effective physical techniques, situational awareness, and de-escalation strategies.
- Ensure participant safety and adapt exercises based on individual needs or limitations.
- Set up and break down any equipment or training materials before and after each session.
- Maintain a professional and positive presence when working with clients and community members.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to participants.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a self-defense or martial arts instructor (e.g., Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, etc.)
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead groups of varying sizes and abilities
- Professionalism, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
