About the Role: Provide a professional and efficient accounts payable service and support our finance team.
Location: Poole, Dorset
Hours: Mon - Fri 9-5
Salary: £28,000
12 month contract
What you'll do:
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and HMRC regulations.
- Assist with cash book entries and bank account reconciliations, ensuring transactions are correctly allocated.
- Cost tracking and variance analysis.
- Assist the finance team with IFRS16 preparation and other audit and statutory tasks as required.
- Preparation of inventory analysis and reporting, including cost price checking.
- Assist in the formulation of procedures, policies, and internal controls to comply with legislation and established best practice.
Ideally you will have:
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
- Previous experience in accounts payable
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially advanced Excel
- Be part qualified AAT or QBE
