About the Role:
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team covering Northeast England. You’ll provide first-line customer support, servicing, and repairing Flowbird ticketing equipment, as well as assisting with installations and managing stock.
Location: Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and surrounds
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9-5 flexible
Salary: circa £28,000 DOE
What you'll do:
- Perform on-site maintenance and repairs on ticketing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve basic software issues using PC tools.
- Ensure a first-time fix approach and deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain clear communication and escalate major issues as needed.
- Keep accurate records and manage service calls via the call management system.
- Handle and maintain company stock and spare parts.
- Follow Health & Safety regulations.
- Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades.
What you'll need:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in an electrical field.
- Experience in electro-mechanical engineering, ideally in vending, transport, or similar industries.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
