Responsible for leading and managing a significant project or projects delivering highly technological products in a complex programme environment with demanding timescales. Through their leadership and attention to detail the selected candidate will ensure the success of the project.
The programme is entering a phase of multiple hardware and software customer acceptance and system go live events and this will require frequent customer interaction lead meetings, workshops and present at reviews to senior customer representatives.
The selected candidate will be the main point of contact for a large element of the programme with responsibility to deliver to cost and schedule. They will ensure adherence to commercial scope and that costs are tracked against budget, with internal and external milestones tracked against the committed schedule. They will manage the full project scope.
Experience
The Senior Project Manager will need experience of the whole project lifecycle from bidding to warranty support and is likely to have experience of the delivery of complex systems. They will have a proven track record of delivery to external customers. Their customer-facing skills and project management competences are of the highest importance to the role.
