What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our US team in either Clearwater, FL or Moorestown, NJ. In this role, you're responsible for maintaining accurate financial records consisting of; managing general ledgers, overseeing AP and AR and ensuring compliance with general accounting standards.


 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements;
  • Prepare internal reporting to management and sales teams;
  • Perform various treasury functions including weekly cash forecasting;
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analysis;
  • Perform cost accounting functions;
  • Support the budgeting process by providing data and analysis;
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management;
  • Preparation of tax returns and filings;
  • Assisting external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations;
  • Assist with the preparation of income tax returns;
  • Supports the collection specialist determining appropriate action to recover delinquent accounts; 
  • In collaboration with the Collection Specialist, researches and investigates customer account issues for non-payments; and
  • Assists on special projects and other duties as assigned by the CFO.
     

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for team players that possess the perfect balance of experience, education or training, skill and competency in the following areas:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting;
  • 5+ years experience in Accounting operations;
  • Experience with Accounting software (preferably MFG Pro);
  • Advanced understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
  • Advanced mathematical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to interact and communicate at all levels of the organization; and
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
