ESSENTIALS:

  • Location: Młynarska 7, Warsaw, Poland (but we are relocating our office to Stary Mokotów in early Q4) 
  • Employment: full-time/part-time (min. 32h per week); contract of employment / contract of mandate, B2B
  • Project industry: Software development with focus on latest “AI way” for HealthTech, FinTech, and FoodTech industries
  • Company size: 20+

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Coordinate with external service provider the month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of the bookkeeping
  • Prepare financial data for monthly reporting
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of key reporting and tracking spreadsheets (P&L / Cash flow/ financial models) 
  • Ongoing support for the team regarding analysis of costs and project hours 
  • Prepare reports for external institutions
  • Prepare invoices for the US Clients and communicate with Clients regarding their outstanding debts and deadlines
  • Assist in the implementation of business process changes to improve financial planning and reporting 
  • Duties related to financial and operations activities such as: benchmarking analyses, process improvements, cost optimization or budget planning   

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Currently enrolled student or graduate, finance, accounting or economics preferred
  • One year of experience on similar position
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes (P&L, Cash Flow, month-end closing)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Result-driven and patient
  • Enthusiasm and engagement
  • Proven English oral and written communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Experience in People Operations (reporting, payroll)
