Want to use your dev skills and experience for US clients? Do you have the ambition to develop pragmatic innovative solutions? Although the contract isn’t tied to any specific project, the main assignment will be with an international non-profit based in New York that we’ve been working with for over 6 years. The system was designed and built by us within the past 5 years and we are actively updating libraries to the latest.

ESSENTIALS:

  • Contract type: Full-time B2B contract or Contract of Mandate (UoZ in Poland)
  • Location: Młynarska 7, Warsaw, Poland
    • Current rule is: fixed Tuesday, Wednesday+ one optional day (3 days per week we wok from the office)
  • Salary: 80 to 115 PLN/H + VAT
  • Primary Project industry: HealthTech software development for non-profit organization
  • Company size: 20+

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Hands-on Java back-end and JavaScript front-end coding and design
  • Direct interaction with the clients (who makes occasional visits to Poland)
  • Evaluating new technologies as opportunities arise
  • Learn new technologies as needed for project
  • Reviewing code and mentoring other developers 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 2+ years of experience with Java and related technologies - for primary project we’re currently using Spring Boot 3.2.x, Hibernate 6.x, Gradle, Lombok, Liquibase, jOOQ, Java 17
  • Database design and SQL skills with RDBMS 
  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript

 

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience with Angular (but using/learning will be a requirement)
  • Hands on Docker and DevOps Tools (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with Github Copilot and IntelliJ (we’ve been using Copilot on multiple projects for over a year)
  • Cloud solutions hands-on: AWS (or Azure)
    • Most important AWS services we use: OpenSearch, EC2, Fargate, SQS, Media Convert, Event Bridge, Redis, Lambda,  API Gateway
