Job Description
Fresh Baguette is looking for a full-time BAKING WARRIOR to join our sweets team at our production center in Rockville, MD. As a baking warrior on the Sweets team you will train along our professional chefs to learn the essence of handcrafting quality desserts. 

The Sweets Team is responsible for some of Fresh Baguette's most popular items. You will be responsible for baking both French and American delicacies such our flourless brownies, madeleines, morning glory and double chocolate chip muffins, and sweet breads (e.g. lemon, pumpkin, banana walnut). You will get the chance to thrive in a team-environment and provide delicious baked goods to all our customers throughout the DMV.

As a Baking Warrior your duties include:

• Operating industrial equipment such as commercial baking industry mixers and piping machines
• Frequently handling bulk ingredients weighing between 25-60 lb
• Completing tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet production goals
• Being attentive and accurate to meet quality standards
• Working in hot and cold environments
• Being on your feet for 7+ hour shifts
• Working in a team environment
• Completing assigned tasks independently as needed

Hours

• Varied schedule for weekdays and weekends (open flexibility preferred)
• Must be able to work weekends
• 8:00AM - 4:00PM (30-minute break)

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to work (804 Hungerford Dr, Rockville, MD 20850)
• Physical Exertion Requirement: You must be able to perform heavy work. (This is defined by CFR § 404.1567 as lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds). The Sweets Baker is required to carry heavy objects to support production several times throughout the day.
