Job Description 

Fresh Baguette is looking for a Full-Time Barista/Cashier to join our core retail team Old Town Alexandria (1101 King St, Alexandria, VA 22314). The main role is customer-service oriented to ensure customers are always warmly welcome and served in a clean and inviting environment.

As a Barista/Cashier, you will be in charge of

• Serving baked goods, breads, and pastries, 
• Making and serving coffee, sandwiches, salads, 
• Providing friendly and prompt customer service, running a cash register 
• Maintaining store safety, sanitation and proper food storage 
• Addressing and answering customer complaints 
• Paying close attention to the way products are displayed all over the day and to the cleanliness of the store 
• Participating to develop a pleasant work environment and share the cultural values of the company as well as supporting continuously a harassment and discrimination-free environment for all employees 

Hours
This position requires full open flexibility to work either morning or afternoon shifts. This includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays:

• Morning Shift: 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM 
• Closing Shift: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to lift 50 lb
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Experience working at a café, bakery, Quick Service Restaurant or fast casual environment (Preferred)
