Maintenance Worker- Level I / Handyman (Full Time) at Fresh Baguette

Fresh Baguette, a local artisanal bakery has become the go-to place for those seeking the authentic atmosphere of a typical French bakery. The bakery has achieved steady and rapid growth thanks to its artisanship and high-quality standards. 

Fresh Baguette is looking for a thorough Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Fresh Baguette’s core values: Respect, Integrity, Committed, Team Players, Reliable, and Customer Oriented
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, paint floors, fix plumbing issues and sinks etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, air and water filters replacement
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) will be a plus
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Driver's license
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity

Working day

• From Monday to Friday
• 8AM - 4:30PM (30-minute lunch break)

• Production center of Rockville
