Position: English & Geography Teacher

Garodia Education Institute is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English & Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team. As an English & Geography Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and hearts of our students, fostering a love for language and the natural world.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality and engaging lessons for English and Geography, in both theoretical and practical contexts

- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse learning styles of students

- Monitor and track student progress, providing individualized support and feedback as needed

- Create and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress

- Collaborate with other teachers to design and implement interdisciplinary projects

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for diverse perspectives

- Stay up-to-date with developments and best practices in the fields of English and Geography education

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, along with graduation in English / Geography, or a related field

- Relevant teaching certificate or qualification

- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a ICSE school in the secondary section.

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of English language and literature, as well as geographical concepts and principles

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

- Familiarity with technology and its integration into teaching and learning

- Passion for working with young learners and shaping their academic, social, and personal growth

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and their families
