The Account Manager is responsible for achieving results for the Distribution Center by creating and maintaining business relationships with key customer accounts. This person works as part of a team and is responsible for managing all aspects of our business with their customer: product sales and promotion, customer accounts, shipping and delivery, and dispute resolution. A good Account Manager communicates effectively, is comfortable in a team culture, has strong business acumen and clearly understands how to generate profitable business results. Account managers are also responsible for helping to create customer targets and plans. Their role can span a wide geography, and they are required to hold business meetings in person traveling regularly to customer sites or virtually with the IT tools at their disposal.

Performance requirements
- Identify decision-makers in targeted prospects to start the sales process.
- Collaborate with Division Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibitions and other events when required.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via phone, email, Teams meetings.
- Sell the company's added value and increase customers' product baskets.
- Handle incoming and unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
- Conduct periodic sales training as required.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, payment, refunds, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
Performance standards
- Minimum 5 years sales experience.
- Experience in building materials is a strong asset.
- Travel and transportation will be required for visits. Valid driver's license required.
- Adheres to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Facilitates problem identification, solution finding and objection management.
- Proven sales leader.
- Able to establish and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Committed, with a high level of drive and contagious enthusiasm.
- French 1st language, English 2nd language.
Working conditions
- Competitive compensation package; Competitive base salary, with possibility of discretionary bonus.
- Monday to Friday, full-time, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime and weekends as needed.
- Reports directly to the Division Manager
- Benefits will begin after completion of three-month probationary period of employment.
