Driving Range Lead

Position Summary:
GolfSuites Baton Rouge is seeking a motivated and hands-on Driving Range Lead to assist with overseeing daily operations of the driving range and ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests. This leadership role is responsible for guiding and training range attendants, maintaining equipment, and ensuring efficient ball management and range functionality. The ideal candidate leads by example, thrives in an outdoor environment, and takes pride in operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily driving range operations and ensure smooth functionality
- Supervise, train, and support driving range attendants
- Monitor and maintain range equipment, including ball dispensers and machinery
- Ensure proper collection, cleaning, and distribution of golf balls
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the range and surrounding areas
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and shift coverage
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments
- Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve them efficiently
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
Requirements:
- Evening/Night availability is required!
- Weekends Required!!
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver stairs for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop and bend
Compensation:
