Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our growing team at Granite Transformations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and possess excellent communication skills. Your role will be to provide efficient and effective technical support to our clients and help them with any technical issues they may encounter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for customers via email, phone, or remote sessions.
- Document all customer interactions accurately and efficiently in our ticketing system.
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team or department.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve system or network problems.
- Test and evaluate technical solutions to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or help desk environment.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused and ability to handle difficult customer situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Certification in Microsoft and/or other relevant technologies is preferred.
