We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Course Designer to join our Training Team. Reporting to the Training Manager, the Digital Course Designer will focus on researching, building and maintaining digital training content on the Company’s eLearning Academy. The role will work closely with the Marketing Team to develop engaging content that aligns with the company brand.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Converting existing in-person Grant training courses into online courses
- Monitoring industry training and market trends, making new online content suggestions
- Creation of innovative and engaging learning materials in an appropriate format for online use.
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to existing eLearning content
- Updating existing online courses with any updates as and when required
- Supporting with the delivery of digital training content for both customers and colleges
Essential skills
- Experience with LMS platforms and associated software such as iSpring
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote and Planner
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Clear and confident speaking voice
- A team player willing to contribute and support others
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to proactively make suggestions for improvements
- Ability to work independently
- Good communicator both verbally and written
- Ability to grasp a good level of technical detail
- Excellent telephone etiquette and a natural flair for delivering an excellent customer experience
