The role will be reporting to Senior Director, Corporate Accounting and Finance Operations and you will be collaborating closely with our international finance team and management team in Norway. - Take ownership of the entire accounting process and build a robust financial foundation.
- Uphold the highest standards in financial record-keeping, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Orchestrate the general ledger with precision, providing a clear view of our financial health.
- Craft insightful reports that empower decision-makers and guide our strategic direction.
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee payroll with diligence, ensuring our team is supported and valued.
- Provide vital support for budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare meticulously for audits, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.
- Prepare tax returns and annual financial statements, showcasing our achievements.
- Champion financial compliance, ensuring we operate with integrity and accountability.
- Develop and maintain efficient accounting document management systems.
- Manage NAV reporting and sick pay, ensuring our team receives the support they need.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and support to our global finance team, contributing to our collective success.
The role is a fulltime role, working permanently from one of our offices in Norway - Tromsø, Oslo or Bergen.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Autorisert regnskapsfører (ARF) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Proven track record in managing complex accounting tasks and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of Norwegian employment regulations and accounting practices.
- Extensive experience with accounting software, Tripletex, Maestro or similar software.
- Solid understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Norwegian and English, for effective collaboration with stakeholders and financial teams.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
