Key Responsibilities:

- Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders and department protocols

- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times

- Monitor patients' well-being during scans and provide assistance and support when necessary

- Review and assess images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed

- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient images and provide insights and recommendations

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

- Participate in departmental quality assurance activities and continuous education to stay updated on industry trends and advancements

Qualifications:

- Minimum of associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

- ARRT certification in CT required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred

- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality and accurate images

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Diligent in maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
