We are looking for an excited individual to join the Rental Department at our corporate headquarters in Maple Plain, MN. The Dock/Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and shipping equipment, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
- Load, unload, organize and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse.
- Load, unload, and stage freight on motor carriers and in dock facilities.
- Process, package, and get orders ready to ship.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
- Implement all location safety policies, OHSA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
- Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be forklift certifiable.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (such as a forklift, pallet jack, etc.) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50lbs frequently.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, crawl/crouch, reach and move regularly.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines and products.
