The Senior Software Engineer will drive requirements analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of our core software systems. They will be responsible for developing and managing our software engineering processes and standards. The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex problems, handle competing priorities, and lead team efforts to ensure quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the design, development and implementation of complex software and data architecture
-Define, design and develop high-quality software components in close collaboration with product and QA teams
-Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure efficient and effective transfer of data and software components
-Communicate and provide technical guidance with peers to leverage our existing software architecture and create best practices
-Provide technical advice to management and other stakeholders
-Mentor and guide junior members of the team
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
-6+ years of experience in software development
-Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented design and development, databases, and web development
-Experience developing restful web services
-Must have working experience with at least one major programming language
-Knowledge and experience working with Agile methodologies
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Team-oriented attitude, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues in various roles and departments
