We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the employee relations activities within our organization, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance, support, and resolution to workplace issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and be well-versed in employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations matters.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee misconduct and policy violations, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to management on best practices for handling employee relations issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics to enhance managers' understanding and skills.
- Collaborate with other HR professionals on initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
