IIQAF is seeking an experienced and highly organized Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to our internal and external stakeholders. You will also be involved in maintaining general ledger accounts, creating financial reports, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable activities. As a Junior Accountant, you should have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain client accounts, including tracking billing, payments, and any miscellaneous documents
• Monitor accounts payables and receivables, reconcile bank statements, and post relevant documents
• Update and reconcile customer invoices and statements
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements
• Prepare and submit various reports to management
• Research and respond to inquiries made by customers and other stakeholders
• Execute payment process and assist in month-end closing activities
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting processes
• Facilitate and monitor internal controls
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Familiarity with accounting principles and concepts
• Working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the desire to provide excellent customer service
