Key Objectives
- Maintain high editorial standards by reviewing and refining all written content.
- Ensure brand voice consistency across marketing materials, product descriptions, and digital content.
- Collaborate with content creators to deliver polished and error-free communications.
Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit a variety of content including website copy, social media posts, product descriptions, press releases, and internal documents.
- Identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Verify factual accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with writers, marketers, and designers to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve content quality and style.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or similar role, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
- Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency.
- Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style) and brand voice adaptation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with editing tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly).
