About the Role

 

Our client is expanding their footprint in the mobile payment industry and is seeking a Business Development & Partner Management expert to drive their operations in Thailand. In this role, you will identify and execute business opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and ensure smooth service launches, all while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, develop, and manage the pipeline for Mobile Payment solutions, including e-wallets, real-time payments, and direct debits in Thailand.
  • Lead partner onboarding processes and ensure compliance with our client’s ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate and enhance partner agreements, focusing on pricing, marketing support, and operational contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in carriers, eWallets, PSPs, and merchants.
  • Act as the key problem solver for partners, addressing any issues related to Mobile Payments.

About You:

  • Experienced Professional: You have at least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management, preferably in the payments, Telco, eCommerce, or FinTech sectors.
  • Strong Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills in both English and Thai, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: You can analyse and monitor key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Team Player: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and can manage complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Proactive Leader: You take ownership of your responsibilities, make sound decisions quickly, and are comfortable working in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
