We are looking for passionate people with a wide set of vulnerability research and reverse engineering experience who would like to focus on targeting modern hypervisor solutions.
The role:
- You will join our team to identify vulnerabilities that impact hypervisor solutions using a combination of static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- You will focus on enterprise virtualisation solutions, which includes everything from their management interfaces to VT-X and virtual devices.
- You'll use common VR toolsets such as fuzzers and reverse engineering tools and develop your own as needed.
- You'll need to present your findings in a useful and accessible way to others.
- You'll have access to internal and external training and conferences to refine and hone your skills.
- You'll join our friendly and supportive hypervisor team.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a wide range of experience to draw from and isn't afraid to jump between assembly, C, or Python as the target requires.
- Understands the complexities of modern hypervisors including VMX, memory translation, virtual devices, and their security properties. For the right candidate we accept much of this can be taught.
- Has experience identifying vulnerabilities and investigating whether they could be exploitable.
- Can focus on a large and complex target for several months, gaining a thorough understanding, enumerating a varied attack surface and effectively managing their time.
- Is familiar with common toolsets such as disassemblers, fuzzers and debuggers, as well as their limitations.
- Is happy documenting their work, supporting others and reaching out for help when needed.
- Works well in a small team.

The location:
Depending on role and location you'll have the opportunity to either work remote or from one of our offices, based in the centre of Basingstoke (6-minute walk from the local shopping centre & train station) or London (Southwark).
