The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our organisation against cyber threats. This role will see you proactively identifing and mitigating security risks, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and continuously enhance our security posture.
How you’ll make an impact::
- Be responsible for our cybersecurity strategy and maintain our roadmap, ensuring ongoing alignment with emerging threats and technologies
- Identify, assess and prioritise security risks and vulnerabilities across iProov’s security infrastructure
- Maintain and update security policies, procedures and standards ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Implement security awareness programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the company
- Develop & oversee incident response plans, including incident detection and recovery procedures
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Evaluate the security practices of third-party vendors and partners, ensuring they meet iProov’s security standards
- Work across the organisation to ensure security best practices are employed
- Lead on Business Continuity
- Work with security partners to ensure effective detection & response for the enterprise estate
We tend to look for people with:
- Demonstratable experience in delivering Information, Cyber Security or Governance & Risk projects
- Demonstrated operational expertise in vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, SIEM, network and security devices management
- Keen understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO
- Understanding of the cloud environment (preferably GCP)
- Self-starter and able to develop a strong process driven function
