Our Role
We are seeking a Senior Process Automation Engineer to work on Efficiency projects at iProov using the enterprise low-code Appian platform and preparing the company for the next stage of growth. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with the Appian platform and other enterprise technologies. This role will require strong team leadership, technical and communication skills, with high professionalism and attention to detail.
How you’ll make an impact
- Working as an active member of Technology Operations, architecting solutions and directly undertaking the low-level design, configuration and unit testing of Appian components and functionality, with strong technical insights and experience to inform, guide, challenge and support technical design discussions and planning.
- Interface with other team members in the company to understand business processes, system requirements and scope the work required to achieve the project goals.
- Communicate openly, honestly, accurately and regularly to build trust, confidence and collaboration with everyone you work with (technical and non-technical).
- Lead agile delivery practices and scrum methodology, constantly increasing the level of maturity and capability, through continuous improvement, and ultimately to deliver required outcomes.
- Engage in iProov’s continuous learning and professional development program to learn new skills and engage in the Appian community embedding development best practices, attending technical briefings and discovery sessions.
We tend to look for people with
- Must have at least an active Appian Senior Certified Developer credential, and be aspiring to take the Lead Certified Developer, if not already achieved
- Must have experience in building Appian applications using objects like Records and relationships, SAIL interfaces, process models, reports, Sites , CDTs, other Appian objects and the Appian Admin console, with a deep understanding of Appian best practices and should adhere to them during implementation.
- Experience in working with JSON, XML & RESTful APIs
- Experience in designing and building solutions using RPA, AI and Document Processing (ie OCR)
- Must have experience in database concepts such as data modelling, creating tables, queries, procedures, triggers and views, also should have experience or understanding in creating integrations, web APIs, connected systems and associated error handling
- Must have experience in Agile SCRUM methodology with excellent communication skills to interact with other Team members, including experience in working in Sprint 0 activities, leading sprint demos, participating in story refinement and sizing and mentoring others.
- Must have experience of managing deployments and the associated pipeline and methods; also experience with running and analysing the Appian Health Check, analysing the performance of Appian applications and taking action to optimise scalability and performance.
- Must be motivated about continuous learning, particularly regarding Appian, and ready to progress through advanced levels of certification.
