Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and conclusion of audits.
- Conduct pre-engagement activities, collaborating with clients to establish a clear audit approach.
- Identify planning priorities, including materiality assessments.
- Articulate audit strategy and progression to project partners and senior managers.
- Skillfully review and craft financial statements for IFRS compliance.
- Evaluate the sustainability of entities and their operations for the foreseeable future through meticulous forecast scrutiny.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Currently in the articles of clerkship process, pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
- 3 years in articles (post-articles studies).
- 3 years of auditing experience.
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, including Caseware and Pastel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
