Cape Town - SAIPA Trainee Accountant (REF JL 3123) at Isisekelo Recruitment

We are urgently looking for a SAIPA Trainee to start off in our bookkeeping/accounting department based in Western Cape. Only accepting candidates who live in Western Cape

The role is quite urgent to fill, the best candidate will be someone who is available urgently

Candidates must already be in Somerset West or surrounding area and we won’t be conducting any virtual interviews unfortunately

Minimum requirements for a SAIPA trainee (with the intention to be registered with SAIPA to do articles (over 3 or 4 years):

• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree prescribed by SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants)

• Own reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license

• Either his/her own Laptop with sufficient specs (i5 CPU, 8Gb Ram, Win10/11 Professional) which we “rent” from the candidate for R200 pm over and above normal remuneration (Other software and licence costs we carry) or the candidate will need to join our company laptop scheme when permanently employed after an initial 3-month fixed term/probation period

• Previous bookkeeping experience will be advantageous

• Be apart of our Financial Statement Preparation Department

Package & Remuneration

Salary = R9500 pm with a degree 

or

R8500 pm with no degree but currently studying towards obtaining a B.Com Accounting or equivalent degree
