As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll lead municipal and infrastructure projects with a focus on transportation, drainage, and water resources. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the mission of reliability and excellence.
- Develop and design road infrastructure projects, including highways, freeways, and local roads, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, contract documents, and project specifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing road conditions and identify potential risks and challenges.
- Analyze data to determine the most cost-effective and sustainable road design solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Manage the design of water resources systems, including stormwater management, drainage networks, and water distribution systems.
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis to ensure proper water flow and management.
- Utilize software and technology to create models and simulations to aid in the design process.
- Review and approve construction plans and drawings.
- Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project compliance and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years focused on road design and water resources.
- Knowledge and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
