A Financial Institution licensed by the MFSA and is a principal member of VISA, MasterCard and JCB.
The Finance Manager for the Company will report to the Head of Finance and will be a business specialist who will manage important financial functions of the Company.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (general accounting, payroll, invoicing, payments and other transactions)
- Manage monthly and quarterly management reporting processes
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, including tax and regulatory reporting
- Manage annual statutory audit process and preparation of financial statements
- Look for cost reduction opportunities
- Ensure that the Company meets all its statutory and compliance obligations
- Manage the accounting team and support the teams development and growth
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting (fully completed), or equivalent
- 5 Years + experience in Financial Management
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work with and effectively communicate with senior managers
