We are a fast-paced pizzeria chain based in London and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for pizza and a proven track record of success in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including making a limited menu of pizzas according to company guidelines and recipes, ingredient sourcing, and staff management.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks.
- Develop and maintain strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Work closely with the management team to control costs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding and love of pizza-making techniques and ingredient sourcing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to create delicious, high-quality food
- Must be comfortable producing consistently high volumes of food, not a lot of creativity involved as recipes and procedures are standardized.
