We are seeking an MES Engineer to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of our Manufacturing Execution System. This individual will serve as the strategic link between plant operations, IT development, and executive leadership to drive digital transformation and manufacturing efficiency. - Design, implement and maintain MES solutions for our clients.
- Develop and maintain MES applications, interfaces, and databases.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify areas for process optimization and automation.
- Configure and troubleshoot equipment, software, and systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform system upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to production.
- Train and support end-users on MES applications and processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, configuration documents, and system diagrams.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices related to MES technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment (operations, engineering, maintenance, or continuous improvement).
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with MES platforms.
- Familiarity with Ignition by Inductive Automation preferred.
- Experience with ISA88, OEE, SPC, databases, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Aveva, Rockwell, or SCADA platforms is a strong asset.
