Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a SAIPA Article Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in the accounting field and gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and other financial documents for a variety of clients

- Perform monthly accounting and bookkeeping tasks

- Work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

- Assist with tax planning and compliance for individual and business clients

- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service

- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

- Take an active role in professional development and continuing education opportunities

- Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree prescribed by SAIPA
• Own reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license.
• Previous bookkeeping experience will be advantageous.
