J2 Travel Booking is seeking a talented and experienced Travel Advisor to join our team. The Travel Advisor will use their expertise in helping travelers make their best travel decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted consultant for travelers when helping them plan their trips.
• Provide travelers with accurate information regarding their travel needs and options.
• Suggest potential destinations, as well as activities and services that best meet the traveler's needs.
• Ensure that bookings are processed in a timely manner and all necessary documentation is handled correctly.
• Resolve any disputes that may arise during the booking process.
• Coordinate with various travel partners (i.e. airlines, hotels, cruise lines, etc.) to ensure travelers receive the best fares and services.
• Ensure travelers’ itineraries are kept up to date and provide them with useful information regarding their destination.
• Monitor market trends to be able to provide travelers with the latest on various travel products and services.
• Stay up to date on changes or updates in the travel industry.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Tourism/Travel, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in the travel industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry and the various travel products and services available.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely manner.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using travel related software programs.
• Strong attention to detail.
