As we continue growing, we’re looking for a Remote Data Analyst Intern to help turn raw data into actionable insights to drive decisions in marketing, sales, and operations.
Role Overview
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our analytics, marketing, and operations teams to gather, analyze, and present data-driven insights. You’ll help us understand customer behavior, product performance, and optimize internal processes. This internship is paid and intended as a learning opportunity with real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources sales, website analytics, CRM
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Build dashboards and reports (Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools) for marketing, product, and leadership teams
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve conversion rates, customer retention, and product strategy
- Assist with A/B test design, tracking, and result interpretation
- Monitor key metrics (KPIs), and alert teams when significant changes occur
- Support ad hoc data requests and analytics projects
- Document data definitions, methodology, and assumptions for reproducibility
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar
- Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets; comfort with formulas, pivot tables
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus
- Great communication skills — able to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Detail-oriented, curious, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Duration, Hours & Compensation
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Compensation: $18‑$25 per hour
