🔍 Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing pediatric ocular conditions, including congenital and developmental eye disorders, and perform advanced surgical procedures as needed.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric ophthalmic conditions
- Perform surgical interventions including strabismus correction, congenital cataract surgery, and other pediatric procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, neurologists, and geneticists
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring junior staff and residents
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Board-certified in Ophthalmology with subspecialty training in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Minimum 3–5 years post-specialization experience
- Fellowship from a recognized institution (e.g., UK, US, Canada, Australia)
- Strong surgical skills and experience with pediatric cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
