🎯 Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultant with American Board Certification to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, leadership in multidisciplinary ICU settings, and a commitment to evidence-based care.
🧠Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.
- Diagnose and treat complex pulmonary conditions such as ARDS, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
- Perform advanced procedures, including bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, and central line placement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious disease, and emergency medicine.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and protocol development.
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to CME programs and academic activities.
📋 Qualifications & Experience
- Board Certification: American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years post-board certification in a tertiary or academic hospital setting.
- Licensure: DHA eligibility or license preferred; support provided for the licensing process.
- Proven expertise in managing high-acuity ICU cases and pulmonary diagnostics.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
