My client, a fabulous 5* Resort Hotel in South West of Ireland is seeking an experienced Culinary Director with the ability to lead the overall direction & development of the Food offering in the property and to lead their dynamic kitchen team. The successful applicant will be required to oversee the day-to-day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. They are seeking a proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of talented Chefs in multiple outlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a very supportive GM & Senior Management team. You will have a minimum of 4/5 years of experience in an Exec Head Chef role ideally working within a large 4* or 5* Hotel, Hospitality, or Events environment.
The Candidate:
Previous experience in a similar senior role in a high-volume Luxury 4* or 5* Hotel, Hospitality, or Event Environment
A Team Player, excellent Staff Developer & an innovative Team leader
Should have an understanding & knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control & budgeting, team training, cost control management, and managing HACCP.
Should excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency.
Be an ambitious person responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment to their work.
Excellent Communication, Organisational and Leadership Skills
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks including volume production with an eye for detail and presentation.
