Position: Accountant – India Operations
Enhanced Labs is a fast-growing company in the health and wellness sector, specializing in high-quality supplements and nutritional products. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team at our India operations facility.
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial health of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all financial transactions. You will be responsible for all accounting activities related to our India operations, in close collaboration with our global finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage financial records for Enhanced Labs' India operations.
- Accurately record all transactions, including product requests, Shopify store expenses, and local operational costs.
- Calculate monthly payments owed by Partner to Enhanced Labs Mgt and prepare detailed invoices.
- Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and any other statutory requirements.
- Generate financial reports for management, including profit and loss statements and cash flow summaries.
- Work closely with the local team at Narrendar’s company and report directly to Enhanced Labs' international management.
- Assist with audits, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant
- Proven work experience Shopify and similar platforms
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and Indian tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP…
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High ethical standards and integrity when handling financial information
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
