Ok, but what is the Tech Sales Representative role about?

 

As Tech Sales Representative, you will be part of an international team (Global Business Development). You will directly report to our Head of Suppliers and you will ensure that suppliers acquisition through integrations is taken care of as your own baby. ๐Ÿšš๐Ÿ”—

More specifically, some of the key tasks are:

  • Be responsible for building long-term relationships with Suppliers and ERPs systems.

To get there, you will have to own the suppliers' lock-in strategy through integrations, redefining the supplier acquisition commercial strategy. With your top-notch negotiation skills, extensive project management experience and amazing tech understanding this will be an easy walk for you.

  • Lead and scale the integrations commercial strategy to the top.

Katoo has very ambitious goals and those will not be achieved by flying solo. You will have to build and train your "A" team to become the best in business. This team could be a mix of internal and external stakeholders, we have a lot of propositions, but at the end of the day would be your call.

  • Translate the feedback from external stakeholders into an action plan for our product and tech team.

The Product team works to learn what are the user pains and market needs, so we know what should be built in order to bring efficiency to the market. However, you will be the first one really testing these learnings with the market. Understanding how the market is reacting to our solutions, writing down functional analysis, and coming up with clear action plans is a fundamental part of your role.

 

How does the "perfect candidate" look like?

  • The perfect candidate would have 4+ years of experience managing tech projects, from positions like Technical Sales Manager, Technical Account Manager, Technical Project Manager.
  • Proven ability to abstract complex ideas to simple solutions with the information and data available in each individual case, preparing and organising an integration project and managing it from start to finish.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, combined with excellent problem-solving skills even in complex situations are a must, coupled with an ability to cope with uncertainty, act quickly and make sound judgments under time pressure.
  • If you are native Portuguese (C2) and fluent in English (C1) you get extra points, startup experience is desirable but not essential, meaning... There is always a workaround instead of an excuse and we'll find it together.
