Do you have a passion for engaging online and print design and a commitment to creating memorable user experiences? KDG is looking for a full-time Marketing UI/UX Designer to join our team of award-winning developers, designers, and infrastructure analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for working with KDG’s design and marketing teams to deliver user-focused print and digital designs, as well as online interfaces for internal stakeholders. In this role, your work will shape the face of KDG and play a vital role in how all external stakeholders view our brand. Your Job

 

As a Marketing UI/UX Designer with a marketing mindset and a clear marketing career path, you will play a crucial role in driving website traffic and growth while marketing to our target audience. With specific experience in website traffic and growth, you will bring a unique skill set to our internal KDG projects. Your primary responsibility will be to use your print and digital design skills to create high-quality content for our organization. 

 

You will be expected to bring a keen eye for detail and a passion for marketing to the role, as well as excellent communication skills. In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Oversee KDG’s brand materials and vision, ensuring all internal and external-facing materials remain consistent and professional.
  • Design illustrations, infographics, and other visual materials to accompany weekly social media posts.
  • Assist with the creation of digital marketing materials, including emails for KDG’s expansive subscriber list.
  • Create print materials for numerous campaigns and events, including handouts, whitepapers, business cards, brochures, greeting cards, and postcards.
  • Assist with the creation of internal content, including employee newsletters, company announcements, and presentations.
  • Manage and extend KDG’s web presence. This includes user experience improvements, design updates, ADA, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize project ideas. Utilize design skills to assist with web projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our team through consistent communication.
  • Brainstorm ideas and create solutions based on user plans, stories, and frustrations.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing to develop landing pages and optimize user experience.

 

Qualifications

 

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:  

  • Prior experience in digital marketing, specifically in audience targeting and growth strategies
  • Proven track record of effectively marketing to an audience and increasing website traffic.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating capabilities
  • Keen eye for detail and be able to document marketing plans and strategies
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD)
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Hands-on experience working with Wordpress (or similar alternatives)
  • Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, capable of executing multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in Allentown, PA office or in US home office
  • Additional nice-to-have experience:
    • SEO
    • Motion graphics
    • Canva or similar design tools
    • HTML, CSS, and JS
