As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Area Cleaning Manager to join our team.

Position overview:

The area manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple cleaning contracts within the assigned area. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage a team of cleaners, maintain excellent relationships, and ensure all cleaning services are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of cleaners, providing guidance, training and support as needed.
• Develop cleaning protocols and ensure all team members adhere to them to maintain consistency and quality.
• Monitor team and performance and conduct regular site audits to ensure all cleaning services meet the company’s standards.
• Assign duties and schedules to team members, ensuring optimal coverage and timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain communication with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and address any issues and concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and order necessary cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on cleaning activities, budget and team performance.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cleaning process and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in the cleaning industry.
• In depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software (e.g Microsoft office, scheduling software)
• Valid driver’s licence
