1:1 Teaching Assistant Role Available in Torquay

 

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Torquay and provide essential support to students in their learning and development.

 

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Torquay
Contract: Part-Time
Hourly Rate: £14.45 - £15.20 (depending on experience)

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual students, providing personalised support to help them succeed both academically and personally. Your contribution will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with varying educational needs
  • Assisting with classroom tasks, activities, and assignments
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Helping to develop students' academic, social, and emotional skills

Ideal Candidate:

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable individual
  • Will possess experience or a strong understanding of working with children with special educational needs.
  • Previous experience in working with children is essential. Education is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for supporting students' growth and success
