Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Torquay
Contract: Part-Time
Hourly Rate: £14.45 - £15.20 (depending on experience)
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual students, providing personalised support to help them succeed both academically and personally. Your contribution will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support to students with varying educational needs
- Assisting with classroom tasks, activities, and assignments
- Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Helping to develop students' academic, social, and emotional skills
Ideal Candidate:
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable individual
- Will possess experience or a strong understanding of working with children with special educational needs.
- Previous experience in working with children is essential. Education is desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting students' growth and success
