Long Term Teachers have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher, who has a wealth of experience and knowledge with primary education. The headteacher is looking for an applicant who can demonstrate to be an excellent role model, someone who is kind, caring and dedicated with a great sense of humour!
The school is driven by a powerful ethos which aspires to treat everyone equally and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education. As well as continuing to build a strong school and deliver a first-class education, it is also their desire to build an interconnected community, recognising that educational needs do not exist in isolation from the needs of the whole person.
The role will involve working with small groups of children across all age groups that need extra support with their work. This could include making games and activities to coax them to find a way to enjoy their learning. The school is predominantly mainstream, however there are a number of students with a special, educational need, who have an EHCP. It is important that you can recognise how to support their individual needs.
You will be working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only. If you demonstrate to be an excellent addition to the team, there will be an opportunity to progress to a permanent position.
